I’m a terrible clothes hoarder. Like, I have clothes from when I was 21, that I barely fit in, that I keep because I always think I’ll wear it again. And when I was 21 I was in my Graveyard/Trash Goth phase, which is totally not my current aesthetic wish. (I had many phases of goth, then I just stopped caring as long as I was covered). I want to get back into having a Style, and start caring about how I dress.
I work as a School Bus Driver. And since there’s a pandemic going on, our school closed in March, and went to Online Learning. They also started out this year online.
I LOVE my job. I love the driving portion, I love all of the little things that go along with that. But mostly, I love interacting with kids in this manner. There are so many amazing kids in our tiny district, and I hope they stay that way. Which means, of course, I miss the heck out of our actual school year stuff, and I want to go back as soon as safely possible.
We know they’re going to a Hybrid Schedule soon – Half the students in class Mondays and Wednesdays, the other half Tuesdays and Thursdays, and Friday online for everyone – but we don’t have a clue the exact timing. Maybe a month, maybe a couple weeks. I’ll find out tomorrow after the Monday school board meeting.
I have a household of 4, and I’m the meal planner. The rest will cook, but they hate planning meals. (So do I, actually, but I like to eat)
We have a basic list of meals we can make, so meal planning is kinda easy for us. Here’s some basic meal planning inserts for you, I use about two a month, and rotate through them. 🙂
I like to track my meals, to hold myself accountable. Like, I’m going to eat garbage food. I try to keep it to a minimum, but I know I’ll do it more often if I’m not tracking my intake.
I don’t diet, though. I just try to eat reasonably healthy. Dieting is so proven to not be helpful. But since I’m not an expert, that’s all I’ll say about that.
I tend to use these to track my husband’s work – he does contract work so I just need contract number, times, location, and what work was done. The Vertical Layout is absolutely perfect for this purpose. I can write in at the top that he’s working, then add the other information needed as I get it. Since I do his bookkeeping and billing, it works out well for us.
