I’m now at the point in my blog where I think I might be overextending my creative capabilities… So I think I may step back and only post on Wednesdays, whether it’s a sticker sheet, an Insert, or just a little bit of interesting news…
I’ve looked over a lot of the things I’ve posted, and a TON of them were made years ago. So I’ve had weekly content for 6 months and most of it is stuff I’ve made in the last 4-5 years… Continue reading →
Last Monday I decided I needed to schedule out some more of my Planner Printables – I have a few that need put up on the blog that I’ve made for a friend for Christmas. Continue reading →
Anyone who’s met me, has probably met me due to my involvement with the Society of Creative Anachronism. It’s a living history group that’s a lot of fun. Now, during these Plague times, we haven’t been doing the things we usually do, but that just means we all have a ton of time to make all of the things we enjoy.
It’s a group where you get dressed up in a reasonable facsimile of clothing from between the dawn of man and 1603. And by reasonable, it’s supposed to mean that if you take a bedsheet and make it into a tunic and wear some scrub or pj pants, it works. 🙂 there are people who work towards as absolutely accurate as possible, but most people settle in to a comfortable blend of modern comfort and historical adequacy.

I work as a School Bus Driver. And since there’s a pandemic going on, our school closed in March, and went to Online Learning. They also started out this year online.
I LOVE my job. I love the driving portion, I love all of the little things that go along with that. But mostly, I love interacting with kids in this manner. There are so many amazing kids in our tiny district, and I hope they stay that way. Which means, of course, I miss the heck out of our actual school year stuff, and I want to go back as soon as safely possible.
We know they’re going to a Hybrid Schedule soon – Half the students in class Mondays and Wednesdays, the other half Tuesdays and Thursdays, and Friday online for everyone – but we don’t have a clue the exact timing. Maybe a month, maybe a couple weeks. I’ll find out tomorrow after the Monday school board meeting.

I just found out that my Sister-in-Law is pregnant again! YAY FOR BABIES!
I’m Excited. I love being an Auntie, and my other nieces and nephews think I’m good at it, so…
Now, she’s never had the full new baby experience. She’s had some rough life choices, and some she wasn’t all that… responsible… about. So she doesn’t have custody of her firstborn children. She’s worked really hard to get her life on track and be a better person, and I hope this time goes better.
So on to another plan of mine.
I’m going to design and make her a baby book. She’s never had one, and I think that this will be a good way for her to celebrate her whole pregnancy, as well as her new life.
Also, there’s things that people want to remember, and I have heard that pregnancy brain does things like help you to forget things and that’s bad.
So look forward to that!
