I recently got married. My husband and I are both due to inherit a small bit each, and we have no children. So we need to make a binder for our executor(s), and eachother, for when we both die. It’s to make sure that our wishes are down on paper, and the surviving partner doesn’t have to try to think through grief.
I’ve downloaded everything from Death Planner.net, and while some won’t be applicable as we don’t have kids to worry about, we each want to leave our respective nieces and nephews some things.
This is on top of us needing to set up our wills, and living wills. *Le sigh* I hate to have to go to a lawyer, so….
I try really, really hard to use the Craft Stash printables. Like, Super Super Hard, especially with my Fabric.
When you have large yardages, it’s easiest to store them in totes. However when storing in totes, if you don’t have either super clear labeling or a stash listing, you end up having to constantly dig through totes. Which means, unfortunately, that you then have to refold a lot of fabric and replace it neatly. Or, like my messy self, leave it all over and then have to clean up sometime in the future.
I love to make a stash list with swatches – then I can pet the fabric a bit, and decide by the feel and yardage if it’s suitable for my project.

So many things have happened in the last 3 years.
Friends lost through a nasty divorce and the choices made during (so the huge Hand sewing project is scrapped for the moment), a CDL training School, 8 months of truck driving and a 40 lb weight gain, coming home and finding another new job, driving school bus, that I love because kids are entertaining.
Big learning happened – I’ve FINALLY (after 20+ years) learned how to knit and am liking it much more than crochet, so lots of projects there. I’ve learned more about me so I’m having lots of fun with that.
Things have settled and I’ve remembered that I like blogging, so I’m hoping to continue now and maybe not forget and get too busy for another 2 years.
Next project: Making Garb that actually fits and will fit through the weight loss I’m slowly experiencing.
